TPF campaign for the Pride Centre Rooftop Pavilion

Donate to the TPF campaign for the Pride Centre Rooftop Pavilion

Our current goal is to raise enough money to assist the Victorian Pride Centre in completing its original vision of creating a safe space for other organisations, providing services to those most in need within the LGBTIQ+ community.

Currently it can be hard to find a safe and inclusive space to hold the many events for both reflection, joy, sadness and celebration that our diverse community are seeking. It is with great excitement that The Pride Fund have commenced raising the much need funds to allow this vison to happen.

Our Current Project is to complete The Gardner Barbaresco Rooftop Pavilion at the Victorian Pride Centre.

The Gardner Barbaresco Rooftop Pavilion will commemorate the lives of Yvonne Gardner who cooked meals and cared for those living with HIV/AIDS and Ayman Barbaresco who volunteered for many LGBTIQ+ organisations over many years.

The Pride Centre Rooftop is THE events place for Victoria’s LGBTIQ+ communities, a perfect platform for parties, events, happenings, chilling and potentially community gardening. It’s a space of 1093m2 with spectacular views of Port Phillip Bay and the CBD.
To protect people from the elements an approximately 100m2 pavilion is proposed. This elegant pavilion, constructed of steel and polycarbonate sheeting, will be a stylish addition to the Pride Centre and will optimise the success of the Rooftop Terrace as an events space.
